What good will it do?

Well, you'll note that we've called this the One Small Step Campaign; it's designed to build on existing good work. It's a journey of a thousand small steps. We believe that civic action has had positive effects in the past eg when the trade unions demonstrated against sectarian murders, they did stop for a period. When community groups got together to have paramilitary death threats repealed against fellow community workers, this worked too. Churches across the community have played a significant role in building peace and resolving conflict. What we have to do is build on that and sustain the momentum as best we can.
