How does this relate to what politicians are doing?

This is a complementary initiative. It needs to happen anyway and is not contingent upon whether you are in favour of or against the agreement, nor indeed whether the devolved institutions are back up and running in the near future. It's a long-term matter. Peace building is not simply about what politicians can or cannot do; it's all our jobs right across the whole of civic society. It's all our responsibilities. We look to politicians for leadership, that's why we vote for them, but that doesn't absolve us from our own responsibilities.
